I switched to LEDs in 2007. Measured power for all lights on the lawn, shrubs, trees, and eaves was less than 500 Watts. Which means of course that I can more than triple the number of lights over the next few years. Muwaaah ahhh ahhhh! (Dr Evil laugh)Clearly the "snow" lights on the lawn had many gaps. I need to both add more white strings to the lawn *and* repair the sections which failed in the existing strings. I suspect wiring was poor on the relatively cheap lights I bought and the failed sections were caused by shorts/opens. Oh well.As I told everyone who visited, just wait until next year!
